ASAP’s London Project started in July 2008.  It aims to reduce destitution of asylum seekers in London by improving their access to specialist legal advice and tribunal representation for asylum support appeals.

The key areas of the project’s work include:

  • Free Duty Scheme representation at the First-Tier Tribunal (Asylum Support) in Croydon for destitute asylum seekers from London
  • Taking referrals for asylum support appeal representation from London-based advice agencies working with destitute asylum seekers
  • Providing second-tier asylum support legal advice and training to advice agencies based in London

The Legal Adviser for the Project, Marie-Anne Fishwick, is very happy to visit your organisation to tell you more about the project.  If you are interested in any of the above, please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   or on 020 8686 1888.
