Elearning troubleshooting guidance
Blank screen
If you are faced with a blank screen whilst trying to run the course this could be caused by an popup/ad blocker enabled, and/or Firewall that is blocking the access on your device.
As well as an extension such as "Ghostery" which could be enabled to secure your online privacy.
To solve this problem you can try adding the URL of the account to the safelist on your browser - if using:
Google Chrome:
- Click the 3 horizontal lines icon on the far right of the Address bar
- Click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link
- Click on Change proxy settings
- Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites
- Enter the URL of your Trusted Site; elearning.asaproject.org, then click Add
Internet Explorer:
- Click Tools, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab
- In the Select a Web content zone to specify its current security settings box, click Trusted Sites, and then click Sites
- If you want to add sites that do not require an encrypted channel, click to clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box
- In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the URL of a site that you trust; {add site url here} and then click Add
- Repeat these steps for each site that you want to add to the zone
- Click OK two times to accept the changes and return to Internet Explorer
The URL you need to add is: elearning.asaproject.org
Mozilla Firefox:
- Go to the Open Menu (Upper right 3 lines)
- Locate and select the Security tab
- Click on the 'Exceptions' button
- Next type in the internet address they need to remain trusted: elearning.asaproject.org
- Click Close then OK to complete this action
If possible, it is also recommended to whitelisting the following URLs:
nimble-elearning.com
elearning247.com
As well as if it's possible to try another:
- Computer/device
- Browser
- Network if possible - such as a home network or mobile phone network to see if this problem is limited to the device, browser and network they are currently using.
