Referrals - organisationsfor representation at the Asylum Support Tribunal

We provide representation at appeals against Home Office decisions to refuse or discontinue housing and financial support to asylum-seekers and refused asylum-seekers. Unfortunately, we are not immigration advisors and cannot assist with asylum claims or asylum appeals.

You can make a referral by emailing the following to us at: referrals@asaproject.org.uk

After you have emailed us this information, we will contact you to confirm receipt and request any further information needed.

We will do our best to advise or represent your client in their asylum support appeal. However, please be advised that due to the high number of referrals we receive we are unable to assist everyone who is referred to us. We will contact you 4 working days before the hearing to inform you whether we can represent your client.

Please note, if your clients appeal is listed as to be decided on the papers (without a hearing in front of the judge) then unfortunately we will not be able to assist. This is because we currently do not have capacity to assist with paper appeals.

You are welcome to call our advice line if you need any advice about your clients appeal. Please note that our line is a second-tier advice line for advisers only (therefore we cannot advise clients directly).
